How to broadcast an interview to increase your audience engagement
Facebook Live has quickly become the hottest new live-streaming platform. People share their personal stories through Facebook Live. Brands stream their own unique content to connect with their key audiences.
One of the most successful interactive experiences is broadcasting an interview. You can interview a VIP in your company, a happy client or anyone else and share it with your key audiences through Facebook Live.
Here are three important steps to having a successful Facebook Live interview:
1. Time it right.
You have so many choices for timing your interview. There’s no single magic answer. You should refer to your Facebook page performance statistics to pick the best time to stream your interview. On your Facebook Insights page, you can see when most of your followers are online, which will more than likely correlate with when your broadcast's reach is highest. Schedule your broadcast during that time.
2. Let your audience know in advance.
You should tell your audience when you’ll be streaming your interview. Although followers might receive a notification when you go live, you still want them to be ready and waiting for you. Send them a reminder and encourage them to invite their friends. Get them excited and interested in your upcoming live event.
3. Provide some context.
Your audience will be more focused if you give them some context for your interview. This way they’ll be able to prepare questions and be more engaged in the entire process. Your interview should be entertaining; it should also keep your audience involved so they’ll become ambassadors for your brand.
Preparing a Facebook Live interview is a sure way to get attention for your brand. A successful interactive live interview will increase your audience engagement and convert your followers into customers.
