HubSpot: A social media publishing gem

3 reasons we use this often overlooked site for publishing to social media

Hubspot is a gem of a platform for social media publishign.

We frequently get calls from sales reps encouraging us to check out their new social media publishing sites. The conversation usually goes something like this:

“What publishing tool are you currently using?” Sales rep inquires.

“HubSpot,” we answer.

“Oh, you mean Hootsuite.”

“No, we use HubSpot.”

Sprout Social, Buffer and Hootsuite are three common social media publishing sites. However, there are others out there – and after trying several, we found the most value in HubSpot. So why are companies missing this valuable tool?

HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales software that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads, close customers and delight them. “What’s inbound marketing?” you ask. Inbound marketing is an approach focused on attracting customers through content and interactions that are relevant and helpful – not interruptive, like cold calling is. With inbound marketing, prospective customers find you through channels like blogs, e-books, search engines and social media.

Here are three reasons we use HubSpot for social media publishing:

  1. We get so much more.

We don’t just use HubSpot to publish to social media. We use it to keep an eye on our leads and customers in our Twitter feed with custom monitoring and alerts with social media monitoring. Social media analytics allows us to keep tabs on how many visitors, contacts and customers our social media work is driving to our website as well as the number of leads social media is generating for our company.

  1. It’s easy to use.

Many social media management platforms have way too much going on. They’re overwhelming, poorly laid out, and they aren’t upgrading to improve based on user experiences. Just like its overall site, HubSpot’s Social Media Suite is easy to navigate, organized and quick to use.

  1. It’s worth the money.

While most social media management platform plans start at $99/month, most are so muted that you might as well be flushing that money down the drain. With HubSpot, for $200/month, you have access to content creation tools, content optimization, email marketing and marketing analytics dashboards – all in one place.

We know how difficult picking a social media publishing tool can be. A HubSpot demo will show you just what your company needs to succeed in marketing. In addition to providing a chance to give a new platform a whirl, Axia Public Relations can help your company develop an inbound marketing strategy that grows your business and establishes your company as a thought-leader in your industry.
