We designed the Axia Public Relations scholarship to take a bite out of college costs for students who:

1. have financial need
2. are passionate about a career in public relations
3. are dedicated to professional ethics and professional standards

The Foundation will send $2,000 payable directly to the selected student’s university on his or her behalf to fund educational pursuits.

Previous winners:

2019 - William Careri, Temple University
2018 - Colin Wylie, Brigham Young University
2017 - Kyle Schachner, Rowan University
2016 - Alissa Sommerfeldt, Murray State University
2014 - Jaclyn LeBatard, University of South Alabama

"I worked through college and depended on scholarships and financial aid to fill the gap, so it's important to me to give back and to enhance the profession by investing in the next generation of public relations practitioners and leaders."

Jason Mudd  |  Axia Public Relations founder

Applicants for the scholarship should be juniors or seniors in good academic standing at accredited universities, studying public relations or an equivalent major. Previous PR experience through volunteering, employment, or an internship is required.
