As part of a larger effort to simplify business resources, Facebook decided to retire Facebook Analytics beginning June 30. They will continue to invest in measurement products that provide insights and data analysis capabilities, even as this method is being phased out. The Insights portion of Facebook Pages and Instagram Profiles are unaffected.
What is Facebook Analytics?
Facebook Analytics is a tool that allows you to monitor likes, page views, and viewer engagement with a business page on Facebook. Facebook Analytics provides comprehensive information and analysis to help users get the best out of the social media platform.
Facebook Analytics enables a company to take a systematic approach to link its social media efforts to its business objectives. Analytics may also assist a company in finetuning its plan and calculating its return on investment. It is important for users to understand how and when people engage with the content they share on Facebook for the Facebook algorithm to function optimally.
Even though analytics is being phased out, Facebook isn’t leaving you hanging. It has other tools, such as Facebook Insights, Business Suite, Ads Manager, and Events Manager.
You can use Facebook Business Suite to monitor your Facebook and Instagram business profiles as well as get deep insights into your audience, content, and trends.
All of your Facebook promotions, ad packs, and advertisements can be viewed and changed, and the results can be seen in Ads Manager.
Events Manager can assist you in setting up and managing Facebook Business Tools, such as the Facebook pixel and the Conversions API, and reporting on actions taken on your website, app, and physical store.
