How to make your content discoverable and shareable to generate new leads
Millions of companies compete for attention on Google. How can you outsmart your competition? The answer is simple: Create great content to attract, convert, and delight your target audience. The well-known cliché content is king remains true. Providing valuable information to your audience will build trust in your products or services.
However, even the best content is useless if no one sees it. How do you promote your company content?
1. Make it easy to share your content.
If your content is captivating and useful, your readers will want to share it. Make it easy for them by installing social media buttons and a click-to-Tweet plugin on your company website or blog.
2. Share your content on LinkedIn and Facebook groups.
You need to spread the word about your content. Well-established professional communities (groups) on Facebook and LinkedIn are the best way to start. People enjoy and share high-quality, useful content with good visuals. Sometimes content even goes viral.
3. Notify your subscribers.
People who subscribed to your company email list will want to know about your new content. Create a buzz about your soon-to-be published content (a blog post, e-book, white paper, freebie) by emailing your subscribers. Your company can offer a teaser of the upcoming content. Create anticipation! Remember to notify subscribers once you publish your content.
4. Reach out to your industry thought-leaders.
Every industry has a handful of individuals or companies people trust and follow the most. As a rule, these accounts have thousands (sometimes even millions) of followers and very high credibility. Connecting with the thought-leaders in your niche and asking them to put your content in front of their large audience means more leads and more business for your company.
Content marketing is only a success when you have a strategy to promote it. You can choose many ways to notify your followers and supporters about your new content.
