Since beginning his career in 1994, he has worked with American Airlines, Budweiser, Dave & Buster’s, H&R Block, Hilton, HP, Miller Lite, New York Life, Pizza Hut, Southern Comfort, and Verizon. He's the CEO and managing partner of Axia Public Relations. Forbes Magazine named Axia Public Relations as one of America’s Best PR Agencies.
Jason is a professional public speaker, published author, video podcaster, and entrepreneur. He is an accredited public relations practitioner and a certified PR Measurement Master. During this time, he taught himself HTML, helped pioneer internet marketing strategies as an early adopter of e-commerce and SEO — inspiring Silicon Valley tech giants like Yahoo — and conceptualized Web 2.0 and social media in 2000.
In 2006, Jason and the public relations firm started podcasting. Today, he hosts and produces “On Top of PR” with Jason Mudd — a videocast about public relations topics, tips, and trends. It is one of the top 5% most popular podcast shows globally, according to ListenNotes' Listen Score, and among the top 100 marketing podcasts on Apple Podcasts. Episodes feature guests from Inc, Disney, Wells Fargo, Kroger, Carnival Cruise Line, Undercover Boss, Firehouse Subs, Wounded Warrior Project, PRWeek, and more.
