Ashley and her husband, Jared, have two young children, Annie and Benjamin. After they were born, the family moved to Winter Park, Florida, so the children could grow up closer to family.
She met Jared after he saw her reporting on the evening news in Jacksonville, Florida, then found her on Facebook and asked her out on a date.
Her son’s middle name is Danger.
As a TV news reporter, she interviewed the late Senator John McCain, comedian Tom Green, “CHiPs” star Erik Estrada, actor Russell Crowe, chef Paula Deen, and countless other high profile politicians.
