When she’s not working, Ashley is busy with her two young children, Annie and Benjamin. She spends her early mornings and nights glued to her favorite thing on TV, the news. You can also find Ashley doing one of the following:

  • Visiting the rest of her family in San Diego, California

  • Working out at the neighborhood YMCA

Family matters

Ashley and her husband, Jared, have two young children, Annie and Benjamin. After they were born, the family moved to Winter Park, Florida, so the children could grow up closer to family.

Surprising facts about Ashley

  • She met Jared after he saw her reporting on the evening news in Jacksonville, Florida, then found her on Facebook and asked her out on a date.

  • Her son’s middle name is Danger.

  • As a TV news reporter, she interviewed the late Senator John McCain, comedian Tom Green, “CHiPs” star Erik Estrada, actor Russell Crowe, chef Paula Deen, and countless other high profile politicians.

  • She's lived in nine different cities throughout her life.
