Perfect for Organizations That Want Visibility – Now

PR Membership is an implementation-first, entry-level earned media program designed for companies seeking consistent publicity and third-party credibility without the cost of a full strategic PR retainer

PR Membership provides access to Axia’s streamlined earned media systems focused on outreach and placements. Our expert team will leverage media databases, requests, editorial calendars, submitted articles, newsjacking techniques, and other sources for mentions, quotes, and feature stories. We also provide digital media monitoring, a digital portfolio of earned coverage, and earned media coverage alerts.

This program intentionally does not include the deeper strategic layers that come with our typical engagements, such as launch strategy, messaging architecture, annual planning, structured onboarding, quarterly strategy sessions, and executive-level advisory. If you want publicity-first media relations, PR Membership is a good fit. If you want strategy, messaging refinement, and long-term positioning leadership, NewsBureau is a better fit.

Many organizations start with PR Membership to build earned media consistency, then move into NewsBureau when they want deeper strategy, sharper messaging, and executive-level partnership.

PR Membership is ideal for organizations that:

  • Want local, regional, or national visibility without six-figure agency retainers.

  • Need credibility and media coverage fast.

  • Value transparency and measurable results.

  • Are ready to invest in growth, but prefer a controlled, bonus structure.

Available by invitation only to qualified companies.

What People are Saying About PR Membership

How Approval and Investment Control Work

Complete transparency and approval at every step:

  1. You pre-approve a list of target media outlets and story topics before we pursue them.
  2. You pay a media coverage bonus only after coverage runs in an approved outlet on an approved topic.
  3. You set a total investment cap, so media coverage bonuses do not exceed your expectations.

Optionally, we can recommend additional media outlets or pitch ideas outside your pre-approved list for your review and approval.

Starting at $2,500 $750 base membership per brand per month

plus earned media bonuses.

Bonuses are paid out on your pre-approved topics, outlets, and monthly investment cap.

Media Coverage Bonuses

Media coverage bonuses are in addition to the base membership investment.

Outlet Type Media Coverage Bonus
National TV $4,500
Print and Digital $1,500
Local TV $1,300
Print or Digital $1,000
Podcast or Radio $900

Frequently Asked Questions

What is PR Membership?

PR Membership gives your organization access to ongoing earned media outreach without a full-service PR retainer or long-term contract. Axia identifies relevant media opportunities, pitches your preapproved topics to preapproved outlets, and works to earn credible third-party visibility for your organization. This program is for organizations that want more media coverage but do not yet need a full strategic PR engagement.

What’s included in PR Membership?

PR Membership includes Axia’s ongoing media outreach on your behalf. We pursue earned media coverage from preapproved outlets on preapproved topics, monitor for placements, and provide coverage notifications and clipbook reporting. PR Membership does not include strategy development, messaging architecture, media training, content creation, or full PR reporting. It’s built for organizations that want consistent visibility and a controlled investment structure without a full strategic engagement.

How do approvals work?

You stay in control before outreach begins. Together, we preapprove your target media outlets, story topics, and budget expectations. Axia then pursues those approved opportunities without asking you to review every pitch in real time. When we identify a media opportunity outside your pre-approved list, we bring it to you for review before moving forward.

How do media coverage bonuses work?

Media coverage bonuses are separate from and in addition to your base membership investment. When coverage runs in a preapproved outlet on a preapproved topic, you pay a bonus based on outlet type. You only pay a media coverage bonus when approved coverage runs.

How much should we invest in media coverage bonuses?

Axia recommends that members budget for $2,500 per month or more in monthly bonuses for best results. That's for about two media coverages per month. We want more coverage for you. So that's why it's our minimum recommended investment for this program. It's a planning recommendation, not a guarantee of coverage volume. Actual media coverage bonuses vary based on your newsworthiness, editorial interest, timing, market conditions, and responsiveness to media opportunities.

Can PR Membership members get a news release written and distributed?

Yes. PR Membership members may request a news release. The investment for that is the equivalent of a digital media coverage bonus. Axia will draft the release to meet the recommended specifications of the syndicated press release newswire package, provide up to three rounds of revisions, and submit it for distribution. This optional add-on is separate from your base membership investment. Syndicated pickups from that release are included, so no additional media coverage bonuses apply to those placements.

Is media coverage guaranteed?

No. Earned media coverage depends on newsroom decisions, timing, relevance, market conditions, and editorial judgment. Axia applies proven media relations methods to improve your visibility and create opportunities, but no ethical PR program can guarantee specific placements, outlet decisions, or coverage volume. PR Membership helps you pursue earned media with a lower-risk, controlled investment structure.

What happens if we don't earn media coverage some months?

Authentic earned media is never guaranteed. Some months will have more coverage than others. This is not paid media, which is expensive and lacks credibility. Consumers are trained to ignore advertising.

In a month when we haven't earned media coverage, as part of your base PR Membership, we can secure placements in more than 35 digital publications — as long as it's a relevant fit — where we have existing content agreements to submit regular articles. And placed media in these specific digital publications do not count toward your media coverage bonuses!

These example outlets where we have content agreements include:

  • Los Angeles Wire (84)

  • New York Weekly (74)

  • CEO Weekly (62)

  • Economic Insider (53)

  • Entertainment Post (52)

  • Wall Street Times (52)
