In strategic partnership with the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Foundation Axia Public Relations is pleased to offer a $2,000 annual scholarship. The Axia Public Relations scholarship is designed to take a bite out of college costs for students who

1. have financial need
2. are passionate about a career in public relations
3. are dedicated to professional ethics and professional standards

Now more than ever, employers expect young professionals to have resumes filled with solid, relevant experience. Gaining practical experience and the ability to apply methods learned in school while developing new skills is invaluable for juniors and seniors looking to stand out in the job market.

Since the firm’s inception in 2002, ethical and professional excellence has been the standard business practice at Axia. Instilling these principles into young professionals is important for the future of the public relations industry as a whole.

Today, Axia Public Relations has PR professionals working with clients across America. Axia earns positive PR outcomes for medium and large corporation clients like Brightway Insurance, Dave & Buster’s, Miller Lite, Ray Charles, Southern Comfort and Verizon.

The professionals at Axia offer various public relations services that meet the needs of clients regardless of industry. Axia’s award-winning services, like ReputationRestoration and NewsBureau, provide clients with vast outreach efforts and increased earning potential.

The selected candidate will receive a $2,000 check payable directly to the student’s university on his or her behalf to fund educational pursuits. Additionally, he or she may intern with Axia Public Relations, an opportunity to gain real-world PR experience at a first-class public relations firm.

Eligible applicants for the scholarship will be either juniors or seniors in good academic standing at accredited universities, studying public relations, communications, marketing or journalism. Previous public relations and related experience through volunteering, employment or an internship is also required.

Since this is a communication-based scholarship opportunity, it is especially important that all materials are error-free and thoroughly proofread. Any errors found on application documents count against the applicant, and late applications are not considered.
